Wits End

June 30, 2008

As I'm sure everyone has heard by now, the Sweetwater Casino was lost to a fire early Monday morning. The owners, staff and many of the regulars had become very close to us over the years we performed there. It became more of a "family" get together than a job. They supported us from our early days just searching for places to play up to our shot at winning a Philadelphia "Battle of Bands". We have so many fond memories of the events and special dates we were part of, its difficult to realize that it is gone.

The Sweetwater Casino hosted many benefits and fund raisers to help those in need or raise money for important causes. We were happy to be part of several of those. The loss will be felt for a long time to come.

Yes, the building can be rebuilt. It will be more modern, more high tech, have a complete new look and continue on equally as successful as it was in the past. The history, the good times, the uniqueness that was the original Sweetwater Casino will forever live as cherished memories held by those that knew her best. We count ourselves as part of that group. We are going to miss her.

To Joe, Jeff, Amanda, Guy, Hank, Rocco, Margaret, Anita, and everyone that was part of Sweetwater Casino, we really do feel the pain.

Hope to see you all again soon. If there is anything we can do, we'll be there.
