The Perfect Day
for the Perfect Wedding,
The air crisp and the afternoon sun shining through a perfectly clear blue
sky, a more perfect fall afternoon could not exist.
Megan and John were glowing as they said their vows and everyone there
could feel the love they shared.
Now, what would a reception be without a live band! And......what if say,
the bride is a singer in a Rock & Roll Band? What to do? I know, let's
get HER band to play at the wedding! Good idea! The fact that she is getting
married should never stand in the way of a performance! No? Oh....... Well
this is what happened. The band, under threat of dismemberment by both
families and the bride, agreed that we would use a stand in for (well...most
of) the night. The things we do for brides on their wedding day! Enter
Chuck's sister Peggy who did an outstanding job of filling in. Coming from
a background of singing Jazz, being on stage was pretty natural
to her and she fell in to the Rock & Roll mode perfectly. Thanks Peg
for all the time you put in to make us sound good without Megan!
Ah yes, Megan.... In full bridal regalia she got up on stage and rocked
her own reception playing drums, keyboards, and singing! She even did a
special song just for John. It was an all around incredible event that
will be difficult to equal.
